One Lane Living's Blood Alcohol Test is able to identify alcohol use for as far back as 3-4 weeks prior to specimen collection.

Phosphatidylethanol or PEth, is formed in red blood cell membranes when they are exposed to alcohol.  It is considered a direct biomarker for alcohol consumption.

Research has shown that use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers and mouthwashes will not affect the results of a PEth test.

A confirmed positive result for PEth can be interpreted as evidence of alcohol use.

This alcohol test requires a standard blood sample.
